Simon Dodd
Although he is considered a general practitioner, Simon specialises in commercial matters, management consultancy and accounting issues. His considerable client portfolio ranges from professional services such as solicitors and IT and business consultancy companies to internationally renowned photographers, hairdressers, agencies, production companies and studios within the fashion industry.
Simon puts his specialist knowledge to good use in other ways too, giving sound business management advice to entrepreneurs and helping businesses to grow.
Having qualified as a chartered accountant at Nunn Hayward in 1990, Simon became a partner in 1992. He is a Fellow of the ICAEW.

Stephen Cook
Stephen specialises in proactive tax planning and advice. He and his team of experienced tax managers offer advice in all areas of personal, business and trust taxation to entrepreneurs, businesses and private clients. The team is renowned locally and nationally as one which is able to provide proactive and relevant advice tailored to the needs of each individual client.
Of his twenty plus years with Nunn Hayward, Stephen has been a partner since 1998. He previously worked for HM Revenue and Customs and uses the considerable knowledge and experience he gained there to represent clients in complex HMRC issues. He possesses the rare skill of being able to convey complex tax issues to clients and colleagues in a clear and understandable manner and is a Chartered Tax Advisor.

Jonathan Hemmings
Jonathan’s hands-on experience with many types and sizes of company enables him to offer solutions and strategic direction tailored to every business’s individual needs. His main focus revolves around statutory audit, corporate tax and accounts preparation, and he also specialises in working with solicitor practices on compliance issues. In addition, he takes a keen interest in company start-ups.
Jonathan qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2002 and joined Nunn Hayward in the same year, having worked previously for Grant Thornton in Corporate Finance and Audit. He became a partner in 2007.

Daniel Palmer
Daniel specialises in the areas of audit and assurance, accounts, corporate taxation and general commercial advice. He deals with clients from all sectors of industry, from small, owner-managed businesses through to public companies.
Daniel joined Nunn Hayward in 2002, having previously worked for Grant Thornton in audit. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2003 and became a partner in 2007.

Tom Lacey
Tom’s specialist areas include Solicitors Accounts Rules audits, charity audits and community interest companies. His experience in dealing with a wide variety of types and sizes of business allows him to offer a service which is tailored to the needs of each individual company.
Tom began his accountancy career with Deloitte’s in London, having graduated in mathematics at the University of Bristol. He qualified in 2005 with John R Norman & Co and remained with the firm when they merged with Nunn Hayward the following year. He was appointed a partner in 2009. He is a fellow of the ACCA.

Arvin Assani
Arvin has extensive knowledge of all areas of corporate, personal and business taxes and also focuses on strategic tax planning for individuals and companies.
Arvin qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2000 and joined Nunn Hayward in 2005 as a Tax Manager, before qualifying as a Chartered Tax Advisor in 2006. He was appointed a partner in 2009.

Helen Parry
Helen has significant experience in designing and producing management information and financial reporting. Her industry background as a UK Financial Controller and Global Assistant Controller for a multinational conglomerate has enabled her to develop deep skills in collating and presenting insightful financial data. Over the last ten years working in practice she has supported business owners to develop their financial processes and quality of reporting as their Financial Controller. Helen leads a growing team who provide a finance department service, operating alongside a client’s business as an essential part of their operational structure.
Helen started her career at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, working within the Global Risk Management team, who specialised in assessing and improving financial and IT processes and controls across global companies. Helen is a FCCA and has two BSc degrees in Business and Applied accountancy.
