About the event:

We are hosting a free drop-in clinic, where you will be able to talk to experts about your future plans.

This includes:

  • Review existing Wills
  • Advice on the potential Inheritance Tax exposure
  • Advice on the contents of a new Will so that your estate is passed to the people you want to benefit in the most tax efficient manner
  • Advice on ways to mitigate against potential inheritance tax exposure
  • Advice on the reporting requirement following death and the tax implications
  • Advice on tax implications for the period between the date of death and the assets in the estate being distributed i.e. the estate administration period
  • Advice surrounding Trusts and where trusts can be a good tax planning tool and also other benefits a trust can provide
  • Assisting with compliance work for example annual trust and estate tax returns, completion of the IHT forms for the trust, tax returns or repayment claims for the trust beneficiaries
  • Assisting with the registration of the trust on the HMRC trust register and maintenance of the trust register annually
